OBC Youth Services
Youth Director
Kristi Thomas is our new Youth Director here at Old Brashier's Chapel. Kristi is a teacher at Arab Elementary School, and has been working with the youth for quite a while. She began our Bible Buddies program, and since taking the position as Youth Director, she has turned the Bibles Buddies program over to Melissa Key. All youth activities must first be approved by the Youth Director. If anyone has questions about our youth programs, email Kristi.
Youth Drama
Our Youth Drama Team has performed at local churches and at OBC, and, for anyone who missed the performances, let me tell you, they have done a great job. They perform human videos, plays, and other types of drama. Jamie Compton has done a great job with them, and we look forward to seeing more from them.
Youth Prayer Group
We have a youth prayer group that consists of adults who are praying for the needs of our youth. The head of this group is Tammy Walker.
Childrens Choir
Mary Julian is the leader of the Children's Choir. Every Wednesday night, she goes into each classroom and teaches the children songs. When they are ready, they perform the songs for the congregation on Sunday morning.
Bible Buddies
Bible Buddies is a program that is available during our worship services. It is for young children that may cause a disruption during service. The children are taken to the back, where they do fun activities and games, along with having a bible lesson of their own. Melissa Key is the Bible Budddies coordinator, and she can always use volunteers to watch the children during service.
